I'm not the type to write reviews now (all the reviews on my Amazon page were written by my wife) but I have to warn people who are buying this for their boat might to see the channel markers at night. It's great when you're not (maybe) using it on a boat. Relying on this product to see at night almost put me in a bad position. I was fishing in the ocean just off the bay and when the wind changed and things got bad I went to get my BRAND NEW needed only 2 times in front of the spotlight. The light would get stuck in police light and strobe mode, and no matter how many times I pressed the buttons or did anything, the light wouldn't work. As I tried to make it so I could see the rocks of the dock, I banged my back to see if I could get the light to work, the glass fell out of the front of the lantern leaving sharp shards of glass the deck of my boat. (100% unbreakable) I could no longer turn on the light. I was literally in black black black black black black black black black black black black resin 100m from the jeti stones where there was no light now. I've been fortunate to have struts on my center console that I haven't installed yet that I could assemble and install on my boats to see, but struts aren't headlights and that's why I had this headlight. on board. I was in awe and this tool, despite being labeled waterproof, is a WRONG. Do not purchase this product for your boat unless replacing a reversing light.
