I bought it because it looked solid and also because of the idea of using the flex function to shift my monitor's position on the table. However, I received the following: 1. Poorly designed product. If you actually move the monitor a little, the screws on the monitor and center hinge will loosen, causing the monitor to sag. The only good thing is that if you remove the caps on the ports you can use a 1/2" socket to tighten them down. However, you will often need to do this if you plan to move the monitor for other purposes.2. Poor customer service from seller/manufacturer. I contacted the seller for help on this issue over 10 days ago via Revain and have not received a response. Conclusion: I would have sent the item back if I hadn't disposed of the box prematurely. I've also found better products for less money if you need a static monitor mount. I hope this helps you make a more informed purchasing decision.
