These pants are an excellent find. They are waterproof! I poured about 6 oz. of water on them and the water just ran off! They are a quality material and have an hook and loop adjustable waist. The zipper and double snaps are quality. Easy for a child to open but secure enough that they will not pop open. The knees are reinforced with material and additional stitching. I inspected these pants thoroughly inside and out and found them to be well made. The inner lining has elastic at the ankle so snow will not go up the leg. There are two slash pockets at either hip.would love if they zippered but that is a small point. The manufacturer size guideline was accurate. They came in a nice little storage bag that is a bonus.
