Great halo set but might be difficult for some

As a fan of the Halo franchise and Lego and compatible Lego bricks, I decided to spend a little money and purchase this set and I can't say I regret it. It was actually a birthday present for me, only to get compliments from some friends who also gave me a warthog set (although I'll figure out how to modify that set to wear the warthog). So thoughts: This set can be difficult to assemble. Lots of thin chunks rather than regular sized blocks (regular sized blocks also exist, but not as many as you might think). There are instructions online for building a UNSC Fortress, but I only care about Pelican so I'll address that. The part could potentially get lost due to the size, but a few spares are available. But take your time and make sure you have a decent workspace to assemble this kit. I will also mention that the ship spacer kit is for show only. They do not support the weight of the finished model; that's what transparent blocks are for; have a transparent stand to properly support the model. In terms of details, this is a pretty good model; easily recognizable as the UNSC Pelican from the Halo games. Although it's not exactly a 1:1 scale model for the included minifigures (it should be bigger and have more capacity inside). But I still think he's pretty outstanding, both inside and out. It's also designed to open up to reveal the back, revealing a passenger seat, cargo box, some mounted weapons, and even a small mini. crane system? A pair of joint parts designed to assist the Master Chief in the air. Externally, these are rotary wings and engines, hatches that open everywhere and, of course, an opening cabin. There's also a trick to automatically retract the rear landing posts by pulling some levers inside; an interesting little feature, although not a very necessary one. This pelican appears to be heavily inspired by the trailer for Halo: Infinite (including the bearded pelican pilot finding the Master Chief). There is a Covenant Hunter minifigure alongside the pilot and chief. . All figures are highly detailed and multi-part for minifigures. Overall, as a brick enthusiast, I loved this set and now sits at the top of my bookshelf along with the Warthog and Wolverine that I've collected for several years. return. May I recommend it? For the seasoned brick enthusiast, yes. Especially if you're a Halo fan. But not for the casual brick lover and not for a younger kid.
