It was a tough job for him to assemble (he assembled from ages 5-11), the weight and kitting skills made it worth it! This set is too big to have major MISSING PARTS! We are nearing the end and have been very careful in separating and organizing the pieces and putting everything together. This is Mega Construx's best pelican model, full of intricate detail and working spinning wings. However, I wouldn't say the experience between the building and the finished project is worth the $150 retail price. If possible, buy this set for around $100 or less.
