Review on NewSoul Portable Monitor MDS-173A01 - Enhanced HD, Flicker-Free, Frameless, Ultrawide Display: 1920X1080, 60Hz by Joey Hartz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, but. in my rating

Pros: good size, good screen, solid but light, minimal bezels, VESA mounting points are very good too. Cons: A UB-C input (power and video) doesn't work on all laptops. Works fine on my Dell but I need to use the HDMI input from my ASUS. No power issue - also happens when I power the screen from the PD input. I suspect the ASUS USB-C is simply not configured to transfer video. Doubtful question: when using the screen in portrait mode, the screen adjustment buttons are actually at the bottom, so constantly pressed - which is why the screen adjustment pop-ups keep popping up. A hole in a device that uses a stylus as a stand is a good idea, but you have to have the perfect stylus. If the handle is a little smaller than the hole, it won't work.
