When I first opened the packaging I was shocked at how tiny the earcups were. They looked like earpads the size of a newborn baby. It then took me a while to realize that these are in-ear headphones that sit on top of the ear rather than wrapping around the entire outer part of the ear. So they are the right size for children. However, for my 8-year-old son, adult in-ear headphones are more comfortable than on-ear headphones. He likes adult headphones at school so we don't use them anymore. If you like in-ear headphones, they're still great. We really like the boom microphone and the color scheme.
