This works great for what I intended. I iron a lot as my fiancé is always traveling and we both wear nice pants and button down shirts every day. I also sew a lot and anyone who sews knows that the seams and the fabric need to be ironed. Because of all this, I needed something super strong. It was slightly smaller than I expected from edge to edge, despite measuring my ironing board and looking up the measurements online. Thankfully, it's wide enough, and the fact that it's a bit narrow from edge to edge keeps it in line. I've managed to make it work well as it hides under a metal hanger and an iron that pops out at the back to hold it in place. I like how thick the material is so it covers the metal part well. I also like the thick elastic band around the edge, it stays on the ironing board very well. It's a lot thicker than my previous ironing board cover, which is great as it sometimes leaves board patterns on lighter materials. In general, the purchase succeeds, even with a very hot iron, it does not burn or burn. It is good as a frequently used item.
