for the woman: I really wanted to love this but it didn't happen. First, there are no instructions on how to use it. There are instructions on how to charge it, but no how to actually use it to curl your hair. You can't just turn it on and use it - it should take around 2.5-3 hours to charge. It ranges from 100 to 500 degrees. Once charged, you can remove the charger, turn it off (which is cool), and take it with you wherever you go (to work, etc.). Then when you're ready to go, just flip the button and it'll start charging instantly. Everything is fine in this part. Then I had to figure out how to use it because it doesn't have a hole like a regular curler to pin the hair up and then roll it up. The best I can figure out (in the photo on the website) is to start at the top and twist your hair, holding onto one end. While this may be suitable for people with long hair, my hair is shoulder length so I've unfortunately burned my fingertips on and off. I didn't know how long to hold the curl before letting go because there were no instructions, so I tried to guess. I loved the result - wavy hair that lasted most of the day (less frizzy towards the end). I love the idea of taking it to work or traveling but for the other reasons above I only gave it 3 stars. If my opinion changes, I will update this review.
