Amazing! The best thing about them, in my opinion, is the price. Stores usually sell them in packs of 3 for around $8. Given that you can get 12 cartridges for just a few bucks more, that's not a problem. I've saved so much money since the switch and my tank stays cleaner. There are very simple and clear instructions on the box. These were the first DIY filters I bought, but only took me a few seconds to figure it out. Always keep the green bits, small clip and bezel as these are needed for all 12 cartridges. If you are looking for new filters, use these. They save you money, they ship to your door so you remember to buy them when you need them, and they're great for the aquarium!
