I bought these (and a cute little funnel) to take extra wine home from my wine tasting. Of course, this was before I learned that courses have a policy against taking wine off campus so it can only be used once for that purpose. Sadness. In any case, I've been using it to cook my coffee from the soy milk one day ever since. I believe they would be good for many tasks. They don't leak (even when I'm lying on my side in my purse - thank goodness) and are relatively sturdy. Good product. I am very happy with mine.
