False alarms after 6 months of use

I've had this installed for 6 months with no problems. Recently, in the middle of the night, he started warning about carbon monoxide. I took a second smoke/carbon monoxide combo alarm (different brand) and installed it right next to the X-Sense. X-Sense still works, but the second one never worked. I then moved them both to another location with less dead air. X-Sense continues to warn, but the other does not. Both are brand new so I have to assume the X-Sense is defective. I've worked in space with no headaches, nausea, or other symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, which also leads me to believe it's not working properly.
