and comes with gasket and hardware as described. Hardware simply means it comes with 2 spare flange bolts with nuts. The product unscrewed with no leaks and has been working great for a week now. I give this product 5 stars as it meets advertised specs at a great price. It was also identical to a factory Mercury OEM part. Fantastic work by Dorman and Revane! One more thing, although a washer was included, I read the instruction manual in the box which told me that the manufacturer does not recommend using a washer. You are absolutely correct. Since it didn't come with the original gasket, I didn't use it. Good thing they sent it just in case.
