When my phone (iPhone XS) was in the holder it went nowhere, the mechanical grip was tight. In my opinion, this was the only feature that met my expectations. The charging cradle does not provide sufficient charge compared to other wireless chargers. If I used my phone while it was on the charger, it would barely provide enough charge to keep my phone on the same level as I put it on to charge. Even with my phone on the charger, I couldn't touch it at all without activating the open/close function. It was too sensitive. Finally, I couldn't get the mount to stick to the windshield, I could only use the vent clips that came with it.
