Not designed for large antennas, ideal for any 18 " or smaller!
2" base. Of course the clamping force won't be great. I have one of these with an NMO mount which I use for a 1/4 wave UHF antenna. This antenna is only 6" long so this small, low profile base is perfect. I have a SO239 mount for a 16" dual band 2m/70 -cm antenna bought, if you use a high antenna on it, yes, it will probably fall over.
