First thing I checked the length when I got the cable. I needed about 55 feet of cable and didn't want to cut and break the cable. I wasn't too precise with my measurements, but it was definitely close to 60 feet. Second test - connected to my network and transferred several hundred gigabytes of data to see if there was a drop in speed. Nothing found. I don't have an actual cable tester so I can't tell you what the cable is really rated for, but it's for personal use only and if I can support gigabit speeds that's all I care about. I like that it's flat because it hides well and the woman doesn't complain. And it was cheap too.
