Works as advertised except.

I used this with an HP Specter x360 13t. Everything I connected to the hub worked flawlessly. Including charging, Ethernet and portable hard drives. UPDATE: 9/26/20 I've only had problems with the ethernet connection during Zoom meetings. This is happening on my 2020 HP Specter X360 13t with Win10 Core i-7. I can surf the internet and go to other websites and watch videos with no problems. It started with the very first time I used Zoom with an Ethernet connection. I've spent the last few months trying to solve this problem, but no answers yet. I've tried using other ethernet cables and plugging them into other outlets around my house, including directly into my Eero router. Luckily the laptop has a good wifi card, my wifi is fast enough to work well without an ethernet cable. It's just a little frustrating that the ethernet connection isn't working, as "in theory" it should be a more reliable/stable connection. I suspect it's not theoretical as long as your other hardware/software is working properly. The ethernet port works fine when using this hub on a cheap 14 inch HP laptop I recently bought from Costco running Win10 with a Core i-3 processor. I don't think the hub is at fault, but be aware if you have an HP Specter that you want to use for Zoom meetings when connected via Ethernet.
