I really like that I don't have to tie the bottom of the continuous feeding bags that are made for the Litter Genius. However, I found that the manufacturer's claim that any bag can be used with it was not true. Grocery bags are too thin and too short. They tend to tear along the bottom seam. Also, the 4-gallon trash bags are too short and won't stay in place. Through trial and error I came to the conclusion that a regular 8 gallon (medium size) trash can works best. I think that over time the adapter will become a cost effective alternative to bags for continuous feeding. Just a word of caution, don't use the super cheap dollar store garbage bags, they're too flimsy. They don't have to be a well-known brand either. A store-bought or regular garbage bag that is at least 0.60 mil in weight works very well.
