The top edge is not shown on these sheets. I ordered these after asking if they had a nice fold down hem and several people said they had one. In fact, they have a 2" single-sewn hem, which I don't like at all. I also don't like that the maker's mark is about 12 inches from the top hem. Tags should be on the feet, not the head. I will be returning them, disappointed I had to open them and pull one out to see the hem. I usually order Utopia sheets (which have a nice hem) and wanted to try other brands. Utopia sometimes happens with tags at the top too so these aren't perfect either. Me also recently bought "Bare" flatbed sheets, they also have a tag at the top but they are very soft, wrinkle less and have a nicely finished hem that can be pulled up.
