I wish it explained somewhere how much space you need in your closet for this piece to stick to. I have pretty ordinary closets, nothing out of the ordinary or crazy. So I'm guessing they are actually more made for IKEA style cabinets, which is a box with a door attached to it, all connected flat and flush. My cabinets have a piece just under 3/4" that the doors attach to. They really should be at least 1" thick so the top gets a nice full stick. Also, my doors have little rubber tabs so they don't even if part of the front edge comes forward to be able to hit the door there is still a tab on the back I will try to screw it in place but the whole point is to glue these closed getting was to honor them. Generally check your closets to make sure they have enough space for the top sticker. I wish they explained this somewhere in the list or even in the instructions.
