I have LL Bean Continental Ruck; This is a great backpack, but the bottom straps are too short to tie to more than a very small summer bag. I bought them with some apprehension due to the lower overall rating. Looking through it seems like most people didn't actually measure their strap at (3/4 inch) to make sure they would work overall, so here's the thing. There was also a chance the buckles wouldn't work with my backpack, but I decided to bet $5 on an easy fix. I'm glad I did; They stood up straight and gave me the length I needed to fit my winter bag or wool blanket. I am very happy with these straps and it saved me a lot of assembly and handwork time to have everything work the way I wanted it to. Well!
