Almost perfect

I am very impressed with this desk. First, it's beautiful. The edges are even, close fitting and easy to adjust by hand. The non-slip pads on the bottom are a nice touch. I love that it looks like a sculpture to fit in my home office (my living room corner or my kitchen table). It's solid, with a brace that screws into the uprights, so it's solid. I had no problem lining up the holes, plus extra screws and a sturdy little Phillips screwdriver were included - not a one-time thing! It's a really nice touch and speaks to the overall care and quality of the product. There are some downsides. The top shelf is narrow. I am using it with a 15 inch MacBook Pro and the depth of the shelf is slightly less than the depth of the laptop. And thanks to the vertical supports, the usable shelf width is only 23 3/8 inches. I'm planning to add another 15.6" portable monitor to my workstation but not sure if I can install both. (**Note: I use laptop stands - I'm tall so I need extra height that will allow me to put 2 laptops side by side. This is a good solution. See photos**) However if you need to tilt the laptop out for some reason, it hangs over the front or back of the shelf. The phone holder channel on the shelf is useless for my iPhone 11 in a case. My standing desk came with a separate bamboo phone holder, which is nice. I'm not using a standard monitor so I don't know how it will work with that. The keyboard tray is roomy enough to hold a full-size Apple keyboard and mouse, and deep enough for my phone, stickers, or other office stuff. Being tall I would welcome more depth but that's not really a problem. Overall this is the cheapest standing desk on the market, great and quality build. As long as you're okay with manually transitioning from standing to sitting (and swapping settings), you can't go wrong with this bar table. *****
