This is the cheapest wire you can buy from Revain and I have used it for landscape lighting. The wire coating is high quality, thick and durable. The cable itself is of very poor quality. No metals but it looks like copper plated silver wire, not real copper wire. Twisted wire is very thin and brittle. When using a wire nut, she stripped the wire several times. After figuring out the best way to cut the wire and connect it to my 20 landscape lights, the wire worked fine. I hope that it will last a long time, since there is no desire to change in the near future. All of my flashlights work well and the higher caliber allowed me to run longer wires. Will buy again if I need cheap wire, but if you are building a sound system I would buy better wire.
