This is NOT the same quality artist tape as the Scotch 285 that 3M makes. It has a glossy finish. It also rolls unevenly on the cardboard core. The tactic is a bit more sticky, leaving traces and pulling paper. I ordered 1/2" and it's not that wide. to use for artwork. I'm sticking with the trademarked tape for my purposes
