Absolutely breaking new ground in merino wool hats. I switched to Merino wool hats a few years ago after realizing that nothing works quite like keeping my head warm while still allowing me to breathe while I work. The only issues I had were 1) merino wool hats are expensive due to 100% merino wool or 2) cheap merino wool hats are itchy. after a short time of not doing any serious work anymore, i got itchy and had to itch all the time. I finally got fed up and looked for another merino wool beanie that would make me red and itchy. I almost gave up trying to find something cheap and wanted to collapse and just spend the money and buy something more expensive, but I knew it would work for me. Step into Meriwool merino wool hats. I saw the price and was very skeptical at first. I was afraid that I would burn myself again and if it would be itchy or if it was not 100% wool. It was worth the chance though as I could send it back if it didn't live up to expectations but when I took it out of the box I knew it would fit me. Adjust the head but don't worry it will stretch, DO NOT over tighten. Just with normal wearing, it will fit you seamlessly. This item is very comfortable and is 100% wool as far as I can tell (I'm not sure if it's actually merino wool but at some point you just have to trust the company). In this price range I am absolutely sure. You won't find a better hat than this one. Keep in mind that this is more of a medium to light weight hat. On very cold days you may need to double it up or wear something thicker, but for my climate this is ideal most of the year.
