I love the product. I have ordered another one. A must for bass lovers. * Updated September 25, 2020 * Background and testing. I bought 2 Evos (black and grey) and noticed that they both make a hissing noise when I plug them in. The hiss goes away if I turn off the headphones while they're still plugged in, but that would mean I'd lose touch bass functionality. .At volume levels 1 to 10 I hear a clear hiss from my black evo on level 4, while my gray evo makes a hiss on level 1 or lower (so still tolerable). I tested this with 6 different audio cables (including the 2 cables that come with the box) and the result was the same for all cables and different devices. I even tested both earbuds in a part of the house where they don't have electrical noise to be sure. I saw a review from another customer from Germany who has the same problem in the customer reviews, so I'm not sure if the error only occurs on some devices or on all. I have contacted Revain CS and am currently negotiating directly with Skullcandy to resolve the issue. I like headphones but the hiss when plugged in with no sound is driving me crazy. *Customer Service Update* So Skullcandy was happy to let me do a local warranty exchange with their local dealer. When I wanted to make a 1-to-1 trade, CS Specialist checked the issue and found that their black demo kit had the same issue. I asked for an exchange for a gray one as my other gray Evo was fine. It turned out to work fine. I think there might be a quality control issue with the first batch of black Evos some customers experienced a hissing noise when plugged in. I still love headphones more because there is no more hiss :)
