This is the first hat I'll wear over my hair. Of course it doesn't fit my butt, but it fits my curls well. The hat had a nice cuff and some excess that hung down like a good hat should. It didn't feel tight or pinched, it fit well. I couldn't get all my curls underneath, no way. I don't know what the other comments meant. But I would definitely buy more of these in other colors. I had the default black and loved wearing it (especially when it was nearing the point where my curls came out and got super frizzy).
