Review on BMW Cabin Air Filter CF10727 – FRAM Fresh Breeze with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda by Atheendra Wroblewski

VERY POOR QUALITY - SHOULD TRUST OTHER REVIEWS

I used to trust Fram but was very surprised at the poor quality control that has resulted in this filter. 1. The frame is too thin and separated from the filter material right out of the box. I have photos of it. 2. The frame itself was slightly oversized in all dimensions and very difficult to fit into the BMW e90 3 series cabin filter cover/outer frame. To make matters worse, there was excess plastic left over from the manufacture of the frame, which made it difficult to fix it in the BMW cover. I also have pictures of it. 3. In the first few hours after installation, the filter material gave off an unpleasant smell of rotten eggs. This used to not be the case in the car and honestly the smell was gone after 1 day of installation. That's not the quality I expect from FRAM - it's designed for polygons.
