Whatever I put down the chute to clean it always left a bad odor that attracted fruit flies. I took this product as a supplement to my order and am so glad I did. I just tossed it in the trash as directed (very fun to see it foaming down the drain) and the smell was gone. Fully. Not within a few days, it was completely gone weeks later. I shone a flashlight on the recycler to see if some of the trash was gone and it was sparkling clean. I will definitely buy this product again. Disposal has been a nagging problem for me for a long time and now the problem is solved. Love it!
