These sweet candy canes can be decorated for Christmas. They are made of durable plastic and can pack as many things as you like. I wrapped them around small trees in the yard. During the day they look very nice, like red and white candy strands. When I turn on the light at night, they just look like pink tubes. Red and white are not visible at all. I think it would be better if I added some colorful lights to the trees. Cable lanterns have a plastic battery compartment at the end. There is a button to turn the light on and off or a remote control that works very well. Not sure if the batteries are protected in the rain so I put the plastic compartment in a ziplock bag to keep moisture out. I did the same trick with some Halloween decorations I put outside and it worked well.
