but it dried out with a terrible texture around it

The clay was torn in the packaging so it had already started to harden. It was almost impossible to stretch to fit the square. I managed to get an impression of my dog's paw prints but they dried up around them with a terrible texture. Very sad my pup has since passed away so it's so good to remember her.
