Review on Flowtron BF-150 Replacement Bulb for BK-80D, FC7600 & Wall Sconce Models by Amanda Turner

I give 4 stars for the bulb and prompt delivery. Flowtron insect repellents are not that many. It took me two attempts to change the bulb. Each time the bulb arrived on time and worked perfectly. But I broke the first bulb during installation (and it seems I'm not the only one who has had this experience). The lamp mount on the Flowtron 80W igniter is awkward. It is very difficult to install a new lightbulb without breaking it. Too much force is required to reinsert the latch. So in the second step I made a modification (see picture). I placed the bracket on a block of wood and used a 3/4" wood chisel to split each of the bracket's tabs into 5. Installation was easy after that. The modified bracket holds the lamp perfectly.
