I found it easy to assemble and VERY durable! For the price I was very pleasantly surprised and my son loves it. I weigh 130lbs and actually stood on it to hang something from the ceiling with no problem (no creaking/popping etc) it's so sturdy. My son is 3 too so no matter how many times I tell him not to rock back he still does - no problem the chairs are solid! My ONE complaint is very minor, more annoying than anything else. The paint doesn't seal very well so it peels off when you clean the table (even if you just use water but ESPECIALLY if you use any kind of cleaner). However, I clean the table every day (he religiously eats lunch there) and the blue is still mostly there, despite my paper towels. There are a few spots where it's worn, but it hasn't GONE, so let's call it a win. I suspect I'll have to repaint at some point, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I think it's definitely worth the money and my son really enjoys using it.
