This kit is VERY easy to put together! The instructions are clear but honestly not even particularly necessary to assemble a table or chairs. If you've ever assembled furniture, this will be a quick 15 minute job for you. No power tools were required and all necessary equipment was included. I found it easy to assemble and VERY durable! For the price I was very pleasantly surprised and my son loves it. I weigh 130lbs and actually stood on it to hang something from the ceiling with no problem (no creaking/popping etc) it's so sturdy. This table is very cute, well made and easy to assemble. My 20 month old daughter used it for about an hour and so far my only complaint is that the surface scratches easily. It appears to be very hard wood with a nice smooth finish, but when I turned the puzzle pieces over to get the pieces, the plastic handles on the small puzzle pieces scratched the surface.
