Review on Fit Fresh Coolers Reusable Lasting by Erin Wright

This is an odd review as I'm not sure how to classify this issue other than hanging issues. When I first bought them they took 2 full days to freeze. After that, it took a full day to freeze completely. At first I thought it was completely frozen, but it's only frozen around the outer edges. How can something so thin not freeze? I discovered this when I slid this ice cream into a narrow space in my fridge and heard a soft pop. At first I thought I might have ripped the outer plastic, but when I pulled out the ice pack it was full of liquid and slivers of ice sloshing around inside like a "slushy" drink. In fact, bubble ice was thin ice inside that was cracking. I left them in the freezer all weekend and put them in the fridge on Monday and after only a few hours of work I took a break and saw that these things had already melted; cool but melted. It just seems to have to do with the mixing of solutions in the ice pack because I don't understand why something as small as 1/4 to 1/2 inch would take so long to freeze but melt so quickly. It's not worth the hassle and frustration it causes. On the plus side of this product is that it's thin enough to slip into some tight spaces and the outer shell feels durable, but again I prefer cold drinks when working outside in the heat over slightly chilled drinks .
