Review on ๐Ÿšฝ 75758 Nightlight, Quiet Close Grip Tight Round Front Toilet Seat by Marc Stewart

Needs a lot of improvements.

I had high hopes but came back 2 years later and took a star. I wish it was MUCH better if it was light sensitive and turned on automatically in the dark. I don't like the 7 hour timer: WTF, it's been dark outside for over 7 hours! And you have no control over setting the exact time - you have to "reset" it to the time you want it to appear each day? No control. M'kay. It seems cheap - it's thinner plastic. I also don't like the "Quick Release" hinge system as it seems doomed. If you are a heavy person: this will NOT work for you unless you sit still on the potty; If you move, you'll knock this thing off its hinges. I don't expect this to last long and would be shocked if it did. It's not bad, but I'm disappointed. - Still disappointed after 2 years, And now the light doesn't work at all. The batteries got to the point where they barely lasted a month, and then it stopped turning on at all. Also see the review that it is NOT WATERPROOF. Liquid enters INSIDE the light mechanism. I'm pretty sure it's the death knell you're hearing. If they improve it, maybe I'll try again. Wanted two - one for each bathroom but I'm glad we went with just one. Save your money and buy a cheap flashlight that fits under the rim. 2 years after purchase I see on their website that Kohler increased the timer to a whopping 10 hours but you still have no real control over the setting. Still no photocell.

Pros
  • Dual LED track lights and work light that illuminates the battery tank and bowl without interfering with night vision
Cons
  • Big and bulky
