Review on 📻 Uniden Bearcat SR30C: Turbo Search, Close Call RF Capture, 500-Channel Compact Handheld Scanner for NASCAR, Aviation, Marine, Railroad, and Public Safety by Corey Krull

I have always considered Uniden to be a quality product. The SR30C was a new product and seemed to have good reviews, apart from the complex programming, but that wasn't a problem for me. The build quality was excellent, as was the sound quality. A big problem was the battery life. I put in a fresh set of alkaline batteries and they ran for about 12 hours when I got the low battery warning. Replaced them with a fully charged set of NiMH batteries which ran for about 3 hours until they also gave a low battery warning. I have an alkaline battery portable radio that has been running for a few months now. Not sure if it was just a bad block or a battery. Sent it back to Revain for a refund. We will be in touch with Uniden to get their feedback.
