Review on Concept Lighting 302L Cordless Undertones by John Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Absolutely mesmerizing!

I was looking for the right cordless light to illuminate a Thomas Kinkade painting in my office. The painting was given to me by my wife a few years ago and I wanted to illuminate it in a way that showcases the intriguing qualities of Thomas Kinkade's work. After a lot of research and reading various test reports on Revain and on the Internet, I decided on the Concept Lighting 301L. God it was the right choice! My painting measures 36 x 28 inches including the frame. However, the painting itself is 26 x 18 inches. The 18 inch lamp is perfect for paintings of this size. After researching on the internet, I saw that this lamp is actually considered the #1 lamp in its class. Soft LED bulbs do not emit heat or harmful rays that could damage my photography. (This was mentioned in an independent online review.) Also, the included remote lets me turn the lights on and off, and dim the lights if I want to. And finally, thanks to all the previous reviewers who suggested using the Sanyo Eneloop NiMH charger (takes 8 AA batteries and 2 AAA batteries; plus 2 C and 2 D pads. You'll also need a Miraclekoo- Buy C size battery pads for the Sanyo Eneloop in packs of 6. I didn't quite understand why but I followed the advice and now it makes sense Instead of using 8 C size batteries you can use 8 AA size batteries that use a lot less power as they are rechargeable they end up being much cheaper than replacing a C size racquet that keeps getting lost! Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave their reviews. Many of us rely on honest reviews and your experience to make a purchasing decision.
