This product makes me laugh just because my dog looks so cute/funny in it. I bought this because we travel all the time and I wanted her to have a poncho for the likely scenario where we have to take her for a walk in the rain. I'm so glad I did. At first she absolutely hated it, but now I think she really likes it because she knows it's either that or it gets wet, and she's not a big water drinker. She is quite petite for a French woman, only about 16 pounds at her mature age, short and stocky, not tall at all. I originally bought this other brand's version but their small size was ridiculously large so I believe this measurement chart is accurate. This one is perfect for us. I like the elastic leg straps to keep it secure and not fly away in the wind. I also like that they have a piece of fabric covering her tummy (connected to an adjustable waist belt with velcro) as my girl is small it does a great job of protecting her chassis from wet grass :-) The clear visor comes in handy around the rain of keeping her in the ears. /face, although I have to admit it's not her favorite, so I kind of agree with him. The hood even has an adjustable drawstring that can be pulled around the head for security. I love it. And the last mention of features, the leash hole is capped to keep the rain from pouring directly into the body, clever. I've looked at these specs a bit, I think they're really well compressed and high quality. It's a soft rubber material on the outside and a very soft, umbrella-like material on the inside. Winter is coming and it's already getting cold so I wear a thin harness over her sweater and pull that over it to keep her cozy and waterproof in bad weather :-))
