We bought these for my 6 year old at the start of the season. This is the second pair of boots from this company, last year he outgrew the first pair and we really liked these boots so we decided to buy him another one from the same company. I noticed that the material was starting to peel off. I don't think letting tons of moisture through is important enough (either that or my kid just doesn't stay in the snow for too long), but I think it could be problematic in the long run.
