Waited 4 months to leave this review as many people had problems within 3. So far the pump is holding up well. The install was very fast with how I did it (more below) and for the price it can’t be beat. Saw lots of complaints about the product failing, but at the fraction of the cost of a dealer replacement, I can do this like 4 more times before the dealer was the better option. For the install, I did the light out method. Remove the headlight for easy access to the pump. Don’t try to remove the entire bracket, that’s just more work. Bolt the new pump to the factory bracket. There’s a little wobble in it, but nothing that seems like it would be damaging. I clamped the upper hose before removing it, tilted the pump to drain it mostly, then removed the lower hose while keeping it upright. Then I attacked the new pump to the lower hose, and carefully and slowly put in new coolant directly into the pump. Tapped it a few times to work out air bubbles and repeat. Then attached upper hose. This method meant I only need to put a few ounces of new fluid into the he car, and had I not already bought the coolant and lost the receipt, I would have just filled that little amount with distilled water. Also, after lower hose is on bolt it down. Don’t forget that part.***Just an update***3 years later and still going strong.
