This is called a baby pillow and would probably work well for that purpose. I bought it because my husband needs to wear a bracelet on one arm at night. Because it doesn't flex, it can be difficult to place comfortably. This small pillow is perfect for hand/wrist/forearm rest. Being soft, it easily conforms to its shape. Ah, a relief! The only problem I had was finding the pillowcase that was the right size but without the baby themes printed on it! I ended up buying one that was the right width but too long (knew it when I bought it), turned it over to sew the seam over the end to make it shorter, and right side out. and voila!
