Review on BOSS Audio MCBK420B Motorcycle Bluetooth Speaker System - Compact Amplifier & Weatherproof 3 Inch Speakers, ATV & Motorcycle Use, 12V Vehicles by Reggie Higdem

Revainrating 4 out of 5

From a skeptic. Best Speaker

Received it today and hooked it up to my Harley Road King. So I gave 4 stars but because I couldn't figure out how to put 0.5 to get 3.5 stars. In any case, like almost all small speaker systems, I was skeptical about them. Pros: LOUD. To be honest it's nice and noisy. The quality isn't like that of a car radio, but it's good. They are behind the windshield and I can hear clearly at 70 plus. Quality for such a price is without a doubt good. The mounting hardware is decent and the cable connections are solid and of good length. Cons: No on/off switch. There's no option to turn off Bluetooth if you just want to use a cable. I connected them to the power line so they turn on and off with the power of the bike. The problem with not having an on/off switch is that if you don't want to use them while driving, they'll be on all the time. You need to pair and get your own switch. Not a big deal but wish they had built it in. Not much bass, but doable with the equalizer setting on your device. Directions are missing. In general, I like them very much. I get my music and it sounds good. Bluetooth worked great, wired connection worked great. I would definitely recommend her. I uploaded a short video. Please remember that cellphone video does not capture what you hear while standing. They didn't explode for me either, it was more up to you to hear the quality.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Okay for the most part, but...
