I didn't know how big 27" was until I started using this HP 27" monitor. I think it's too big for home use and I'm sorry I didn't go for the smaller 24 inch monitor I was planning to buy. I only bought this monitor because of the speakers on the back. Few monitors offer this feature (at least in my price range). I felt it was difficult for one person to assemble the stand to prevent it from falling apart. The way the stand attaches seems a lot more complicated than it needs to be. I almost sent it back but decided to keep it but I'm still not 100% sure.
