Review on Leachco Back Belly Chic Taupe by Sherri Radermacher

I bought this a year ago and now I use it almost every night. I'm not sure if a U-shaped pillow is right for me, but I want to highlight some of the qualities of this particular pillow. For the price I paid for the pillow, I'm disappointed in a few things: It's not that long. As it appears in the stock photo I'm 5ft 5in tall and when I put my head on the head section it only goes to my knees making it difficult for me to tuck the sides between my legs. It easily loses its shape. After I was about 4 months pregnant, the hump became completely flat in the middle inside where it was supposed to separate the stomach and legs. Both sides at the top no longer have any padding where I could pick them up to get out of bed and as a result the sides shift slightly now. It's really quite big. This can be a good benefit if you are sleeping alone in a large or larger bed, but my husband and I share a queen bed and unless it takes up 2/3 of the bed one side falls off the edge huh contributing to this is loss of shape on the upper sides. The pillowcase has a hole in the inseam where my head rests and I'm guessing that's due to all the occasions the sides have slipped off the bed in the middle of the night. I will say that with all these shortcomings, I still sleep a lot better with it than without. It's good support for my hips now that I'm 9 months pregnant and it's definitely better than nothing. In hindsight I would have bought something cheaper had I known I would have all the issues I have for the price paid. However, this is a good pillow.
