I recently bought this from Revain for my Jeep and installed it last week. Looks good and installation wasn't too bad either. However, I have to fill up my Jeep and the lock cannot be opened with a key! It was in the garage and we didn't have any extreme weather conditions. I called Revain and they offered to replace it but didn't send new keys. Not wanting to change it, I just called a locksmith to fix it. For this reason I would definitely not recommend this product!

I like it a lot. Fits perfectly, is very quick and easy to assemble. Appearance and quality are good. Heavy, strong and durable. What I didn't expect is that the spring-loaded door stays closed whether I lock it or not. For weeks when the Jeep is safely in the garage or on long trips, I can leave it unlocked for a quick gas station. If I then leave the jeep in a public place or in the driveway overnight, I can lock it. Pretty practical choice!

The instructions were fantastic and incredibly easy especially for those with no experience. Fantastic low price for a locking gas cap compared to other options and it fits perfectly. I moved to a new apartment complex this year and regularly found my gas cap open. I don't think anyone tried to steal my gas as it would have been difficult without getting caught so I'm guessing it was just disgruntled people angry that I had taken their parking spot.
