Review on ECCPP LR3 Key Fob Uncut 433MHz Keyless Entry Remote 🔑 for Land Rover Sport - Premium Quality 1 Pack Key Fob by Mark Greenwood

I attempted to fit my original key into this new housing but the diameter of the plastic circle that rotates the base of the key holder was a few thousandths too small and did not fit. I took the blank key to a locksmith who had no trouble cutting it. I have a scanner that can program keys and it was able to reprogram an original (working) key, the original with a dead battery, and this new one. The truck started immediately. However, the WiFi functions did not work. I found that I had bought the 433MHz (EU/Asia) dongle instead of the 315MHz (US) version. I ended up unsoldering the battery and replacing the one on my original key which had a bad battery. Now I have two working remotes and one non-working one which is actually an emergency key. All issues aside, the final fit and finish is good. It doesn't have an LR logo on it and it's not waterproof (which doesn't bother me). Overall good value for money.
