BRILLIANT! Much better than round reflectors.

Product: PABIPABI Hexagonal garlands of 200 beads (warm white) PRO: - Excellent faceted look that makes the bulbs sparkle like sunbeams falling on fresh snow instead of just glowing - Much brighter than 3 other brands I tried (technically no more light but the edges add more intensity at the points) CONS: - (only one) No connector at the end to be able to connect them together. My Story: My mini light with a pre-lit bulb. The Christmas tree is on its last legs, but I don't like creating garbage and the tree itself is still fine. This year I decided to find the perfect LED lights for it and redraw the whole Christmas tree. Also, I've always liked how many bulbs it has (1700!), and it's hard to find a replacement for anything under $800. In my search for the perfect LED I was concerned about the amount of light, brightness and overall length as I needed enough wire to wrap around the branches. I ended up buying 4 different types/brands: 1. KNONEW, transparent wire, straight thread, round bead2. XUNXMAS Green Wire Straight Thread Round Bead3. Full Transparent Wire Curtain Thread Circular Bead4. This is PABIPABI Green Wire Straight Strand Hexagonal Bead. My comparison: Ollny curtains were interesting because I thought it would be easy to run the "curtain" up the tree trunk and down the branches every 10-foot line. . Unfortunately this thread 1) was only USB powered so I had to buy a lot of transformers and 2) was TOO FAGGER (probably because of the USB power supply). . I believe the transparent packaging prevented absorption so the light came from all sides of the LED while the green wrapped filaments absorb the light coming from the sides and bottom of the LED. However, I found the transparent wiring too obvious when wrapped around the branches. This made the tree look more like an alien from Star Trek. However, these lamps could be a great room decoration. For a while, XUNXMAS threads were my go-to choice. They were bright (enough) and the wire in the tree was hard to see. It also had a jack on the end so I could connect multiple wires on the same transformer/plug. Then I came across this product and was intrigued by the hexagonal beads. Comparing my mini lights to round bead LEDs, it was obvious that mini lights are omnidirectional and LEDs have bright and dark corners. The round bead will eventually form a conical shape where the light is most intense. If you placed them perpendicular to the wall you would see that they look like a circle while at other angles they cast parabolas. LEDs will never be omnidirectional, so the hexagonal bead focuses the light into 7 "rays". It resembles a conical pen, except it's a "skeleton". The end result is that as you move around the tree, each light source will "jump at you" as you hit its bright dots. What sounds like less light gives the lights a magical ART that's perfect for the holidays. (I'm still working on my tree and forgot to take a picture of the other strands. Take a picture for comparison)
