These bar stools with counter did not disappoint except thought they came in a set of 2. The color of cognac is rich and beautiful. The stool itself is very solid and reliable. He's not too skinny either. It has a nice wide seat for nice wide buttocks. I read reviews and some people complain that they are not real leather. They are. There are different types of leather. Whole grain, higher grain, crappy heap, and total fake. A whole grain is the pure skin of an animal. The same goes for the top grain, only they removed the top layer of leather to make it easier to work with and then veneered it for protection. It is strong but not as durable as fine grit and does not wear out over time as much as fine grit. But these are real leather guys. Be careful with polyurethane and glued leather. It's very bad, so don't pay money for it. I love these stools! Very satisfied.
