Review on Philips SHE2642/27 In Ear Headphone (Purple) (Discontinued By Manufacturer) by Zachary Ester

At the end of May 2012 I bought two pairs: black, silver and turquoise. A few months ago, due to experimentation and sloppy handling, the black and silver pair began to only work on the left side. The turquoise pair still works on both sides after the second accidental hit in the washing machine, but the volume is softer and sounds a little muffled on the left. The right side is completely normal. I would say both pairs have been used about equally, I've taken them everywhere, used them everywhere. For the past 8 months I've been using one or the other every night to listen to movies or music while I sleep. As it is now the paint is peeling off the teal, but I'm guessing that's mostly due to the washing machine. . The silver color just rubs off. A few months ago, the buds of the turquoise pair began to fall off, and it's impossible to wear headphones without them. The ear cups on the black and silver earbuds never fell off, in fact I had some trouble removing them to replace the ear cups with the teal ones after washing one of them in the sink. The sound is purely a matter of taste and in that respect they suit me perfectly. I will be buying a replacement for my two dying headphones soon and this is my first choice. Although I am sad that Revain no longer wears a turquoise pair and would love to see emerald as my choice. :)
